Before joining CORE Simon worked with Breathe Technology as an Educational Technology Advisor, prior to that he was a classroom teacher for 11 years.
In Simon's capacity as a classroom teacher he has spent many hours working in the area of using Web2.0 tools in the classroom and experimenting with software packages and their use with his students.
Justine has been involved in early childhood professional development for 5 and a half years. During that time she has had the privilege of working with teachers and parents in a variety of early childhood settings including playcentres, kindergartens, homebased care services and education and care settings.
Dayle currently lectures in primary science and mathematics initial teacher education at Victoria University of Wellington. She is also Programme Director for the Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary) at Victoria University. Dayle has been contracted by CORE Education to deliver professional development in primary science education to the Royal Society Primary Teacher Fellows in 2010.
After teaching in early childhood for 20 years, Jocelyn joined the University of Canterbury and spent 14 years managing and delivering two Ministry of Education Early Childhood Professional development contracts. Jocelyn had responsibility for managing and supporting an inspirational team of facilitators and together they progressed current ideas on teaching and learning with teachers in their region.
